Candaba, officially the Municipality of Candaba (Kapampangan: Balen ning Candaba; Tagalog: Bayan ng Candaba; formerly Candawe), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pampanga, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 119,497 people. WebThe Candaba Bird Sanctuary The area is part of the 32,000-hectare Candaba Swamp that straddles the boundaries of the provinces of Pampanga, Bulacan and Nueva Ecija. The swamp serves as overspill for the Pampanga River that swells after the monsoons, making it an excellent habitat for wildlife, especially for migratory birds.
