WebJan 21, 2012 · I would recommend a normal drive and let cool for 5 minutes; then crack the overfill ( reservoir) bottle's cap; not the rad. cap -- it's too dangerous to do it here. Note: loosen the cap with a partial turn, but not completely here, because it can erupt hot coolant back at you. Keep doing this procedure until air is no longer purged. This started about a year ago with it blowing 90% of the time then slowly over time not working at all. When the heat is on, it does get hot and the a/c it gets cold but there is no air actually blowing.
