WebI think the movie is a brilliant adaptation of the novel. Obviously it would be much more difficult to have the movie from Chief Broom's perspective. The one difference that has stuck with me (it's been at least a decade since I've read the book or seen the movie) is that the movie toned down the Jesus/Savior aspect in the book.
