Webb23 feb. 2024 · Screen tearing So, my only issue is with screen tearing. I have a 2080ti, 9900k, a monitor capable of 165 FPS @ 2560x1440p and no matter what I do I'm getting screen tearing. The only option that fixes it is vsync, but then I'm locked to 60 frames. Which I guess isnt terrible, but I'd much prefer to run at 120+. Should be it. this is what I did for years but with vsync on in NV CP untill I realized I was getting a little input lag in some games due to vsync being enabled in NV CP. I'm pretty sure the tearing with gsync on and vsync off is limited ...

Webb23 sep. 2024 · One thing to note is that gsync only works when your fps is lower than your refreshrate so let's say you have a 144hz monitor and your fps is 160 well in that case gsync won't stop screen tearing.
